EMC Documentum Engineering Project Management eRoom creates a globally accessible, secure project workspace that streamlines engineering project management. It is designed to address the requirements of both program managers and project team members.

Combining a web-based scheduling engine with a collaborative workspace, this eRoom enables project managers to manage timelines within the work environment where team members complete their tasks and deliverables. Team members gain dynamic visibility into the project schedule and can update their own task progress, streamlining information-sharing for all project participants.

Documents and files of any type (e.g., CAD drawings) can be stored and version-tracked within this eRoom, keeping everyone up-to-date on the latest engineering specifications, blueprints, and other critical data. Engineering drawings can even be viewed and annotated by team members who do not have the associated application installed, through use of the optional eRoom Viewer for CAD Visualization.
