As a Microsoft Global Alliance partner, EMC works with Microsoft to combine software, hardware, and services that help you streamline deployment, migration, and management of your Microsoft technology platform. A preferred member of Microsoft's worldwide Alliance Member Program, EMC displays advanced solutions for the Microsoft platform at Microsoft Technology Centers (MTCs) across the United States and Europe. MTCs provide regional access to expert knowledge and best practices for development and deployment of Microsoft solutions.

In addition, Microsoft has designated EMC networked storage systems as SQL Server 2005 Always On Technologies, indicating these storage solutions provide the highest levels of application availability with Microsoft SQL Server 2005.

EMC has also completed testing required to participate in the Microsoft Exchange Solution Reviewed Program (ESRP), designed to help Microsoft customers evaluate the effectiveness of storage solutions in supporting highly available messaging infrastructures. A Gold Certified partner, EMC uses the ESRP framework to test solutions designed to optimize your Microsoft Exchange Server deployments.

• EMC participates in the Microsoft Technology Adoption Program (TAP) for the best possible access to early releases of key Microsoft technologies.
